On Saturday, May 16, 2009, approximately 130 Employees and Physicians from Millennium Medical Group, P.C. participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk.  This event is used to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living in an environment that's fun for the whole family.  The Start! Heart Walk was held at the Southfield Municipal Complex and included a schedule of events consisting of the Festival Grounds with the Down River DaddyO's Band playing, a Survivor Tribute, Warm-ups with the Detroit Lions, a 1.5 or 3 mile Heart Walk and the 5K Fun Run and a Lifestyle Change Awards Ceremony.  The Staff and Physicians of Millennium Medical Group, P.C. are proud to announce that we raised a total of $9595.76 for the American Heart Association which will go to help the fight against the country's No. 1 and No. 3 killers- Heart disease and stroke.
